Welcome to nomadminsorted.com/ (the "Site"), published by Nomadmin Sorted ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them before relying on anything you find here.
1. What this Site is
Nomadmin Sorted publishes practical, general-information guides for digital nomads, freelancers, and remote-working entrepreneurs relocating to Spain and Portugal — covering topics like visas, tax IDs, banking, healthcare registration, and local communities. It’s a starting map, built from research cross-checked against official sources at the time of publication.
2. Not legal, tax, immigration, or financial advice
This is the most important section on this page, so we’ll say it plainly: nothing on this Site is legal, tax, immigration, financial, or other professional advice, and using it does not create any advisor-client or professional relationship between you and us. Immigration and tax rules in Spain and Portugal change — sometimes every year, sometimes more often — and individual circumstances vary in ways general content can’t account for. Before you make any decision with real money, visa status, or legal consequences riding on it, verify the relevant information against the official government source we’ve linked, or consult a qualified lawyer, gestor, or contabilista licensed to advise on your specific situation. We flag known ambiguities and open questions directly in the content with a ⚠ symbol, but the absence of a flag is not a guarantee of current accuracy — always confirm anything consequential yourself.
3. Accuracy of information
We research and cross-check every page against official sources at the time of writing, and we revise pages when we learn something has changed. That said, we make no warranty, express or implied, that any information on the Site is complete, current, or error-free at the moment you read it. Government fees, thresholds, processing times, and eligibility rules are set by the relevant authorities and can change without notice; we are not responsible for decisions made in reliance on information that has since changed.
4. Affiliate and referral disclosure
Some links on this Site — for example to insurers, banks, gestorías, immigration lawyers, coworking spaces, or other relocation-adjacent services — may be affiliate or referral links. If you click one and go on to use that service, we may earn a commission or referral fee, at no additional cost to you. We only link to services we believe are genuinely useful to someone relocating to Spain or Portugal, and a link being commercial doesn’t change the accuracy standard we hold the surrounding content to. Where a specific page contains sponsored or paid placement beyond a standard affiliate link, we’ll say so on that page.
5. Intellectual property
The text, structure, and original content on this Site are owned by Nomadmin Sorted unless otherwise credited. You’re welcome to link to our pages and to quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back. Reproducing, republishing, or scraping substantial portions of our content elsewhere without permission isn’t permitted.
6. External links
The Site links to external government portals, community groups (WhatsApp, Slack, Facebook, Meetup), coworking spaces, and service providers. We don’t control these external sites, and linking to them isn’t an endorsement of everything they say or do. Community groups in particular are run by third parties, not by us — we can’t vouch for every post or member, and we encourage normal good judgment (don’t send money to people you’ve met in a chat group, verify official information against the official source, etc.).
7. Acceptable use
Use the Site for your own personal, non-commercial research into relocating to Spain or Portugal. Don’t attempt to scrape, republish, or resell our content in bulk, don’t attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Site, and don’t use anything on the Site in a way that violates applicable law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nomadmin Sorted and its operator are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site — including but not limited to a rejected visa application, a missed deadline, a financial loss, or a decision made based on information that was accurate when published but has since changed. This limitation doesn’t exclude any liability that can’t legally be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
9. Indemnification
You agree to hold Nomadmin Sorted harmless from any claim or demand arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of the EU member state in which you’re resident, which continue to apply. If you’re a consumer based elsewhere in the EU, you may also be entitled to bring proceedings in your own country’s courts under applicable EU consumer-protection rules.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions as the Site evolves — for example, as we add the affiliate partnerships and tools described in section 4. We’ll update the “Last updated” date above whenever we do, and continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
